Nigeria and UAE Forge New Partnership to Expand Digital Education for Youth
Nigeria has taken a significant step toward strengthening digital education and skills development for its young population with the formal signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the UAE Digital School, under the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI). The agreement—signed today in Dubai—was witnessed by the Minister of Youth Development, who led the Nigerian delegation.
This milestone builds on earlier engagements held in July 2025 with key UAE government officials and development partners, reflecting a shared commitment to equipping millions of young Nigerians with the skills they need to thrive in the global digital economy.
In his remarks, the Minister of Youth Development expressed profound appreciation to the Government and people of the United Arab Emirates for their hospitality, leadership, and continued support for global development. He emphasized that this collaboration represents more than a formal agreement—it stands as a testament to shared responsibility, shared progress, and shared hope for the youth of both nations.
Special recognition was extended to our technical partner, Sapphital Limited, and to the dedicated team at the Federal Ministry of Youth Development. Their unwavering commitment has been instrumental in bringing this vision to fruition. Together, they are confident that this partnership will deliver meaningful, lasting impact for Nigeria’s youth and contribute significantly to national development.
