Hon. Ayodele Olawande Wisdom, known colloquially as Ayo Wisdom, emerges as a prominent figure in Nigerian politics, currently holding the esteemed position of Minister for Youth Development in the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. His roots trace back to the Southwest region, particularly Ondo State, and his journey is defined by a profound dedication to public service and an unwavering focus on the upliftment of Nigerian youth.Initiating his academic pursuit at Christ's School Ado Ekiti, Ayo laid the groundwork for his intellectual journey. Furthering his education at the Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti, he earned an HND in Civil Engineering, subsequently enrolling at the Federal University of Technology, Akure, symbolising his ongoing pursuit of academic excellence.Hon. Ayo's political odyssey commenced during his tenure as the Personal Assistant to the Special Adviser Innovation to the Vice President in President Muhammadu Buhari's administration. His responsibilities during this period showcased his governance acumen and set the stage for subsequent leadership roles.In October 2021, Hon. Ayo Wisdom assumed the role of Ondo State APC Youth Leader, a position attesting to his resonance with the youth and his ability to mobilise support. Two years later, on October 16, 2023, he ascended to the position of Minister of State for Youth, marking the pinnacle of his political influence and underscoring his commitment to addressing youth-related issues. A year later, on the 23rd October 2024, Hon. Ayodele was reassigned to Minister for Youth Development by his Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
